TUMO is a creative technologies center founded in Armenia and now present in over 10 countries worldwide. Aimed at young people aged 12 to 18, TUMO complements formal education by offering opportunities to develop skills in areas such as Music, Robotics, Animation, Game Development, Programming, Photography, Filmmaking, and Graphic Design.
Each student follows a personalized learning path based on their interests and progress, supported by learning coaches and workshop leaders.
TUMO is completely free of charge for students, made possible by the support of generous donors and partners. Our mission is to promote upward social mobility and accelerate social development through education.
In Portugal, TUMO centers are already operating in Coimbra, Lisbon, and Porto, each with a capacity for up to 1,500 students, with the ambition to scale further nationwide. The first international center operated by our team will open in Bilbao in September 2026.
The Project Management Associate will work closely with the Executive Director of TUMO Portugal to support the implementation of TUMO’s annual strategy across its four centers - Coimbra, Lisbon, Porto, and Bilbao. This is a transversal role focused on strengthening the impact, coordination, and operational effectiveness of TUMO’s educational projects and day-to-day activities across locations.
The Project Management Associate will play a highly hands-on role, combining project coordination, operational support, and execution. Beyond helping monitor and implement strategic initiatives, this person will actively support local centers with practical and operational needs, stepping in whenever additional coordination or on-the-ground support is needed. This may include helping organize activities, supporting logistics, coordinating information between teams, following up on ongoing projects, and ensuring that local teams feel supported in their daily operations.
The role requires someone who is comfortable moving between strategic planning and operational execution, and who enjoys being involved in the practical side of making educational projects happen. The Project Management Associate will also contribute to data analysis, reporting, documentation, and cross-center communication, helping ensure alignment and continuous improvement across TUMO locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about education, social impact, and project management, and who thrives in dynamic environments where flexibility, initiative, and collaboration are essential.
